Sleep Inn Summersville - New River Gorge Area

I will add some pictures because I could not believe how nice this little Motel was not being one of the big brand names. So clean so nice and the people were just as helpful as they could be. I recommend this hotel to stay at if you're going to Summersville to see that beautiful clean Lake

Room was very clean! That was our main criteria. CLEAN! The breakfast was good, and the attendant was so sweet! The front office staff was a bit short, which was surprising since other reviewers didn't say the same. Wish front doors were electric, as its hard to open doors and carry luggage. Side door was unlocked. Told front desk and man at desk ackowledged that it was broken, but he seemed unfazed. I think the lack of security should've been a concern to the hotel, but apparently not. Overall, very pleased with stay and will definately be back.

Visited Summersville from Oklahoma. The room was very clean. The location was very easy to find. The staff went out of their way to help us with a few personal situations. They were also extremely nice! There was a pool to use and the rates were reasonable. I would definitely refer this location to my friends.

Clean, nice staff, great breakfast overall nice little place would definitely stay again if in the area.

I'm SO grateful this hotel had room availability for us - we drove for five hours, through South and North Carolina, looking for a place to stay the night, on the way home to Ontario, Canada. We pulled in super late, close to 2:00am, absolutely exhausted and Samantha was welcoming and very kind in accommodating a later check-out to allow us to maximize our sleep, and she was appropriately friendly. The room was excellent - so clean, smelled good, carpet in terrific condition; nothing looked to need repair, there was a ton of water pressure and heat for the shower, exhaust fan was not noisy, and an abundance of towels for us so we didn't need to make another trip to ask for more. The hot breakfast in the morning was exemplary, with fresh biscuits and hot coffee. Kitchen staff was kind and friendly, and then Brooke made the checkout process easy and took a non-nosey, but concerned, attitude for our travels, wishing us the best. Highly-recommended, and if the opportunity presents itself again, we'll be back for sure - thank you!

Everything about this hotel is great. The pool is a nice 74°, the beds are clean and comfy, the free breakfast is yummy with lots of options and the kids can even make their own waffles! It's close to a Walmart and plenty of food options. The room itself is nice, large shower, clean with no bugs, they have a mini fridge and microwave. Plenty of parking and easy access to your room! 5/5 forsure. Staff is also friendly and helpful.

Outstanding Service and Hospitality! My stay at the Sleep Inn was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff made me feel welcome and valued. Tonya and Blake were absolute standouts—professional, warm, and incredibly helpful. Their customer service went above and beyond and truly set the tone for a great stay. Joy, who managed the breakfast area, was phenomenal. She served with a smile, made sure everything was well-stocked, and even took the time to check in with guests to ensure they were enjoying their meal. Her hospitality made mornings feel special. I also want to give a huge shoutout to the cleaning staff—they kept the rooms spotless, fresh, and comfortable. You can tell they take pride in their work. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations thanks to the incredible team. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to others!

Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast, great water pressure in the spacious shower. Great place to stay when visiting the area.
